Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the public health workforce has experienced diverse challenges in serving as a first line of defense against the pandemic. Given this, our research team will be surveying the public health workforce in Canada to understand the extent and nature of mental health impacts and ‘intention to leave’ as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Results of this study can be used to inform human resource planning and investment to support a stable, and healthy public health workforce in pandemic recovery.
If you are a public health professional or worker employed at a public health unit or regional health authority in Canada prior to March 2020 and worked during the COVID-19 pandemic for ≥8 months, you are invited to participate in this survey.
