I am a Master’s of Public Health student at McMaster University. I joined PHN-PREP as a practicum student for the Fall of 2023. My research interests include the social determinants of health, health equity, and the life course approach to health. Prior to commencing my MPH I worked in municipal children’s services as a data analysis coordinator. I completed my undergraduate degree in Health Studies and Global Development Studies at Queen’s University where I contributed to qualitative housing research at the Centre for Environmental Health Equity.

Jennifer Proulx RN MSc
I am a program manager at the Middlesex-London Health Unit. My portfolio includes the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) Program as well as the screening liaison/postpartum screening component of the Healthy Babies Healthy Children (HBHC) Program. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 1999 and going on to achieve a Masters of Science in Nursing Degree in 2018. I began my nursing career working in pediatric and neonatal intensive care before finding my way to public health. I have worked in a number of public health program areas including prenatal education, school health, and home visiting (including HBHC and NFP). I am passionate about public health nursing and the role home visiting nurses play in supporting young families in our community. I feel privileged and proud to support this important work
